A GAME THEORY OF GOD!
What if we are God's game!!
- on 25 sep. 2022, a thought struck me early in the morning when I was half asleep or rather say in my 'sleep delirium' and I instantly thought of writing it down.
I wrote it in my diary briefly but it has been recurring in my mind. I needed reprocessing so here I write it again.
‐ Who ever created us, what if it would have created us as an experiment or as a game or precisely put, to see what we do with what we are given.
"GOD" — super intelligent, the highest form of being, he must have thought of making a cosmos, a galaxy with an earth (among others) in it *bang* life happened—we came.
He wiped dinosaurs 🦕 out like deleting a file from his folder, created humans-gave them the intellect they have and left them on their own!
We probably are a game to him. Not necessarily do I suggest that he is kind and compassionate or loving, maybe he himself was created by someone else — a God's god, and the God's god created by another god with no end to the hierarchy.
OR MAYBE there's only one god who created everything and us but then he must be the greatest (in love, sympathy & everything) THEN AGAIN WHY PLAY WITH US?
‐ Given the intellect we have we consider ourselves superior to all other life forms.
God has put some elements on earth, some life forms and an intellectual human.
Humans, using their intellect, study/understand the soil, the water, the plants & the animals— everything that exists and many things that don't.
Understanding and building from the resources, humans reached space and with that expanded the scope of things now to be understood. So, they continue to understand it—in fact, there is no end to this.
It has become our "purpose in life?" to not sit idle and to always keep understanding, discovering, inventing!
Where has it taken us? You might say it has made our daily lives easy and comfortable.
But has 'life' itself become any easy and comfortable?
So do I say that we stop inventing and discovering? Not at all, I am just baffled if this is what progress really is?
Maybe it's all a game that the god is playing, like the video games we create — just a 1000 times more realistic and sensible.
- We live for a definite time— THE MORTALS— feel sorrow, pain, happiness and a lot more in between.
God left us in his game seeing what he cannot in his own place of abode.
MAYBE TO HIM OUR LIVES ARE INCONSIDERABLE — perhaps the feelings and emotions are so much intense in his world that our's doesn't matter at all, he gives the damn we give to a sheep butchered down — It's momentary and then over.
Or maybe he is all alone and can't sit idle so he had some fun. Maybe he doesn't feel pain or pleasure, misery or happiness, perhaps he is in such a physical-mental state that we do not know of because we have never experienced it or can't imagine it with the intellect he put in us.
- We all grow up understanding the same things over and over again, generations after generations — somethings keep adding up (a new discovery say).
"We all die" we know this but we do not know what to do with it and still die, denying it would be today.
Dying is not at all easy. Why? Because you do not want to leave what you accumulated in the short period you lived. You are attached to your wealth, your parents, your family and maybe even the luxuries you own.
This is what makes Dying 2× more difficult.
-Maybe we'll keep doing what we do— to understand the universe — until there is none left or until there's none of us left.
We are earthlings and the earth sure will die.
Maybe it will regenerate and life will begin from scratch again as it has already happened. But what is even the point.
"Maybe God should stop with his nonsense",
This comes from one of his trillions of creations.
( I highlight again that this was just a thought so starkly embedded in my mind that I could not withhold myself from writing it.)
As to the question of whether I am a theist or an atheist, I would very much like to keep it to myself. But still you must know that although it might seem like it, my intentions were not to disrespect god. Again, it's just a thought.
Comment what you think of this:)
